Tennis Magazine Review (Editor's Choice)
FIRST TAKE:
One of K-Swiss’ 7.0 System Series of high-performance shoes, this sneaker is built to last.
HOW IT TESTED:
The K-Swiss Defier RS tennis shoe wears like iron, with a full-grain leather upper, toe-drag protection for players with open-stance forehands, and a rubber outsole that’s extra tough where you need it to be, in the toe and heel. But durability is a long-term benefit, the kind you appreciate six months down the road. What about the here and now? Playtesters said that the K-Swiss Defier RS tennis shoe was comfortable right out of the box, with no break-in period, and the weight was considered just right—not too heavy that it’s a drag on your feet, not too light that it sacrifices cushioning or stability. Nice touch: the Heel-Grip lining, a grippy though not uncomfortable material that keeps your heel from slipping.
BOTTOM LINE:
It’s the total package, with outstanding durability, stability, and comfort. The K-Swiss DEFIER RS is engineered to stand up to the most intense game. The TecTuff high-abrasion toe wrap creates a durable barrier between the court and the foot. The abrasion-resistant DragGuard is placed in the toe and the heel of the Aosta 7.0 rubber outsole. The Defier RS outsole features non-marking and a clay-friendly herringbone tread pattern for multi-surface traction . Free Shipping when the required order amount is reached
