Airflow 7 CB Tennis Racquet
Our
Review
The Head Airflow 7 Crossbow is the most powerful frame in the Airflow series. Like all the Airflow frames, this racquet is light, quick, and comfortable as well as abundantly powerful. This second generation Airflow 7 features Head's floating Crossbow bridge which enhances power and comfort.
The Airflow 7 Crossbow is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a forgiving frame that can add depth, pace, and quickness to their doubles game.
The nimble handling and generous power help most of all on serves and overheads. The quickness of the racquet around the net and expansive sweet spot also works well for offensive and defensive volleying. From the baseline, compact stroking is more than sufficient for effective baseline play.
Competitive senior players will love the Airflow 7 for how it allows them to conserve energy in longer matches. Beginners with a budget for a premium racquet that offers state-of-the-art technology will take advantage of this frame's forgiving nature
and easy handling.

Magazine Review
Sales Pitch: The Airflow 7 with CrossBow is the lightest and most powerful racquet in the line.
Compare To: Head Airflow 7
How It Tested: This racquet will appeal to women who like their racquets to do a lot of the work for them. There’s plenty of pop on ground strokes, and as long as you’re not taking big cuts on the ball, control won’t be a problem. The sweet spot is inviting, although some testers felt that with the size of the racquet face it could stand to be a bit bigger. This generation of Airfl ows all have Head’s new InteGrip, which is a rubbery material in the shaft designed to reduce vibrations. It must be doing its job because playtesters repeatedly praised the comfort and solid feel of the frame. It’s also nearly an ounce heavier than the original Airfl ow 7, which adds to power and stability, but it’s also more head heavy. Some reviewers thought this balance made it diffi cult to maneuver, especially on serves. At the net, what the racquet lacked in maneuverability was more than made up for by the ample surface area and sturdiness in the head.
Bottom Line: This isn’t a bad choice for beginner and intermediate women who put a premium on comfort.

CrossBow
Technology
Head introduces the world's first dynamic
bridge racquet construction. The
bridge is suspended from the frame and
moves independently which allows the
racquet to store energy in both the
stringbed and the bridge. The
CrossBow concept acts like a spring or a
bow that is loaded during ball
impact. This new found energy is
unleashed in every shot providing
incredible power. CrossBow enlarges
the sweetspot because it has 10 main
strings going through the dynamic
bridge. It has a bigger sweetspot
than a conventional fixed bridge
racquet. Playing consistent powerful
tennis has never been easier. HEAD
Stabilizer
The New re-design HEAD Stabilizer is
incorporated into the racquet shaft area
for a more sleek, aerodynamic
design. During ball impact, the
stabilizer continuously swings in an
opposite direction to the flex of the
frame which counteracts the frame's
oscillation and is extremely effective in
stabilizing the racquet for a very
solid feel.
