Wilson K Factor Six-Two Tennis Racquet

Tennis Magazine Review

SALES PITCH
A user-friendly head size and manageable weight make this racquet versatile and easy to handle.

Wilson nSix.Two

HOW IT TESTED
The Skunk is back. Like previous Six.Two models, this update has the familiar black-and-white color scheme, giving the racquet its nickname. The [K] Six.Two is head light rather than head heavy like the Hammer 6.2, which fi rst popularized the Skunk. The result is a more maneuverable stick that’s good for all-court play and not just baseline bashing. Still, the [K] Six.Two gives you some extra pop. So you get a little help if you’re late on your ground strokes, but not so much that you can’t control the ball if you have time to set up to rip a winner. This is particularly benefi cial on the serve, where the added pace made for big bombs. As one of our re-viewers described it, “The racquet is like a player’s stick on steroids.” Control and handling on volleys were very good, although some testers found it lacking on touch shots.

BOTTOM LINE
Competitive all-court club players or juniors not quite strong enough for an advanced frame will get the most out of the new Skunk.

The Wilson [K] Factor [K] Six Two is a favorite for all court players of all skill levels. Incredibly versatile, powerful and easy to play with, this racket is truly an "all around" solution to help any player [K]ontrol their opponent and raise their game to the next level. The next generation of the nCode n6 and nSix Two and remains one of the most versatile choices in the [K] Factor line. The [K] Six Two is more maneuverable than it's predecessors and feels slightly lighter than its 10.6 oz. strung weight. The [K] Six Two suits a wide variety of playing styles and ability levels. Ideally suited for the player with a moderate to long swing.

All [K]Factor racquets utilize Wilson's proprietary next-generation [K]arophite Black structure which adds additional bonds between the SiO2 and graphite molecules on a nanoscopic scale, resulting in more feel and a stronger, more stable racquet.
