Tennis Magazine Review
Spring 2007
SALES PITCH:
Wilson’s Evolution line has eight models for a variety of ability levels. The Tour is for players who love to compete.
HOW IT TESTED:
Most playtesters liked this model immediately. Shock-absorbing air spheres in the heel (called DST3X) as well as a ventilated arch bridge give the shoe plenty of comfort and stability. A thinned-down forefoot takes some cushioning away, but it also helps lower the weight and keep your foot close to the ground for responsive movement. Some playtesters found the tongue design, which is almost like a sock, difficult to manipulate, but once on the foot the Tour has a comfortable fit.
BOTTOM LINE:
A battle-ready shoe for advanced players looking for comfort and stability at a lighter weight.
