trust their feet to this high-performance shoe.
The Barricade II has a molded plastic torsion bar
that extends from the outsole (for support) to the
lateral side of the upper, which helps prevent
feet from rolling over when players stretch for a
shot. Medial and lateral stability are
enhance by a low-to-the-ground ride, as wll as
three rubber stripes (in the from of the Adidas
logo) that extend along the upper and attach to
the metal eyelets. "I could zip around
with ease, and I always felt sure of foot,"
sand on tester. The Barricade II also comes
with a six-month outsole guarantee: Wear out the
tread and Adidas will give you a new pair.
On the downside, some testers said the toe box was
a bit narrow. Bottom Line: This is an
outstanding shoe fro hard-core players.
